Sheffield is located 16 miles south of Mason City, Iowa and 8 miles north of Hampton on Hwy 65. Sheffield is also 7 miles east of Interstate 35 on county road C13.

Thornton is just west of Interstate 35 at exit 180.

Meservey is west of Thornton at the southwest corner of Cerro Gordo County From Interstate 35 take county road C13 west 6 miles then north on Balsam Avenue.
